Stanborough Secondary School recently celebrated the graduation of its Year 11 Class of 2026 in a memorable evening that highlighted achievement, faith, and the transformative impact of Christian education.
The ceremony brought together students, families, staff, governors, alumni, and members of the wider community to recognise the accomplishments of our graduates and reflect on the journey that has brought them to this important milestone.

A particular highlight of the morning was an inspiring address from the Executive Secretary of the Trans-European Division, whose children attend Stanborough. Speaking as both a parent and church leader, he shared a powerful testimony about the positive influence the school has had on his family and the significant role Christian education plays in shaping young lives.
In addition, Mrs Renard another valued parent, challenged the students and the Headteacher to be a light in the world.
Guests were also challenged and inspired by Dr Sheila Luz, who reflected on the economic concept of Gross Value Added (GVA). Drawing parallels with education, she encouraged the audience to consider the deeper value schools add to the lives of young people beyond academic outcomes.
At Stanborough, we believe in creating “Greater Value Added” by developing the whole child. Alongside strong academic achievement, we seek to nurture character, faith, leadership, resilience, and service.
Our mission is simple but profound: to transform hearts and minds while delivering excellent academic standards. Every aspect of school life is designed to help students grow intellectually, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.
As a Seventh-day Adventist school, we are committed to educating for eternity. We believe that true success is measured not only by examination results but also by the values, faith, and purpose that students carry into their future lives.

We congratulate the Class of 2026 on their achievements and look forward to seeing the positive impact they will make in their communities, careers, and churches. We thank God for His continued blessings on our school and for the privilege of partnering with families in the education of their children. If you are considering a school where academic excellence and Christian values work hand in hand, we invite you to discover what makes Stanborough Secondary School such a special place to learn, grow, and thrive.
