Full Immersion Experience

An Overview

Stanborough School is proud to offer an excellent Full Immersion Experience (FIE) programme for students who are able to study with us for one or two full terms. During their stay, students have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the British Education system and British culture. Our uniquely designed course offers cultural and exam preparation lessons that boost all four English Language skills (Reading, Listening, Speaking, and Writing).

School Life

Enjoy highly structured and interactive language and cultural classes taught by qualified staff who will prepare you for the internationally recognized Cambridge exams. Our students are offered a unique opportunity to be part of our busy School and Boarding school community. Various after school clubs are also available during the school week. Making friends from all around the world is guaranteed!

Results & Certificates

If your son/daughter enrolls for a Cambridge exam, he/she will receive the ‘Confirmation of Entry’. This document contains the timetabling information for the exam and a password to access the results online. To access results please click here: https://candidates.cambridgeenglish.org/

Please make sure your son/daughter checks the Confirmation of Entry carefully to ensure that his/her name is spelled correctly, as you wish it to appear on the certificate. If there are any mistakes, please inform us before the exam.

Trips & Activities

Some of our most loved excursions during the FIE programme include London & West End, Stratford-upon-Avon and Taster Days at Newbold College of Higher Education. Bowling and local shopping are also part of our package!

All Inclusive Prices

Our competitive prices include tuition, accommodation & full board, excursions, activities and admission to all scheduled British attractions as well as airport transfers (to/from Heathrow and Luton airports). There is nothing extra to pay. All students need to be concerned about is money for souvenirs!

Legal Guardians

All students staying in the Boarding School are requested to have a Legal Guardian who is based in the UK. A Legal Guardian is a person that acts on behalf of the parents, attending meetings with school staff and relaying comments to the parents. Guardians keep regular contact with the students during term time and assist with any problems that may arise. A guardian may organise suitable home stay accommodation for exeat breaks or longer holiday periods.

If you don’t have any friends or family in the UK that may become your child’s guardian, you can contact a professional guardianship organization. For example, you can find a list of AEGIS accredited guardianship organizations at https://aegisuk.net/
