❌ Coursework-based subjects not accepted
- ❌Stanborough School cannot accept external candidates for examinations involving coursework components.
- ❌Candidates should make arrangements through their Distance Learning Company, or contact the relevant examining body for further information.

♿ Access Arrangements
- ✔️If you require special arrangements to be made to you, please ensure that you discuss this with us before submitting your application
- ✔️ We may not be able to help after submission if not pre-arranged
- ✔️ Although we are a small school, we will do our best to accommodate you, but this may not always be possible, depending on your needs.
- ✔️ Supporting documentation (e.g., Form 8, educational psychologist or medical report) must be provided at the time of application.
- ✔️ Arrangements are subject to awarding body approval and school capacity.
- ❌Requests made after entries are submitted will not be granted.

Applications by email are not confirmed until the candidate visits the school in person with ID and payment confirmation
Applications are considered submitted once we receive your completed application form, full payment of fees, and successfully complete ID checks. All three are required.
If paying by bank transfer, please allow couple of days to ensure we receive the funds.

💷 Fees
- ✔️ All payments must be made in full before entries are confirmed
- ✔️Cost of each exam taken – about £60 per exam
- ✔️The fees for each exam are those set by the exam boards and published on their websites.
- ✔️Please speak to the Exams Office if you would like to double check the fees

Please note that for English Language, for requests with no spoken component completed, we might not be able to accommodate this request or we might have to charge you higher fee.
For English Language, where is spoken component is required deadline is 30th September 2026

For students coming to us through the council or a tuition centre who wish to pay by invoice:
Invoices are raised as soon as the enquiry is confirmed, not when the candidate attends school to complete the application or ID checks. Invoice processing can take time and delays might affect exam entry deadlines and might result in higher entry fees.

- ✔️Once your entry has been processed you will receive a STATEMENT OF ENTRY from Stanborough School
- ✔️Closer to the exam time you will receive details of the timings and venue for your exam(s).
⚠️ Important Reminders
- ✔️Bring photo ID to every exam.
- ✔️Arrive 30 minutes early for each paper.
- ✔️Leave all mobile phones, smartwatches, and notes outside the exam room.
- ✔️Follow JCQ and school regulations at all times — breaches may result in disqualification
- ✔️The school does not provide tuition or coursework support; we only administer exams.
