This is an excellent professional opportunity for a recently qualified or experienced coach to join Stanborough Secondary School, to coach from years 7-11. The successful candidate should be able to contribute to the wider school Sports programme, through supporting a variety of traditional and non-traditional sports. Applications would be particularly welcomed from those with specialisms in a particular area.

The successful candidate will demonstrate an experienced, dynamic and creative approach to the teaching and learning of Sports/Games.
The post is for 1 day per week (Mondays).
|Qualification and Development:||A degree in relevant subject.|
Evidence of recent and relevant continuing professional development.
|PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification)|

|Recent Professional Experience;||Teaching across the ability range within specified subject/s.|
Successful teaching experience across key stages 3 & 4 within the specified subject/s.
Experience in leading whole school sports events.
Evidence of achieving good learning progress from classes within at least two different key stages.
Good classroom management.Experience of supporting change and securing improvement for students.
Experience of being a form tutor.
Evidence of contributing to the personal development of pupils.

A good understanding of current educational issues, theory and practice, with particular regard to:
