Student leadership at Stanborough is something we place a strong emphasis on. It helps to develop leadership skills amongst students and helps to build a stronger community.  Student leadership is also a tool that teaches students how to serve and respect others and prepares them for a life after Stanborough.

Each year, Stanborough offers a wide range of leadership opportunities to our students. Positions available to students are:

• Head Boy/Head Girl
• Prefects
• Sports Captains
• Class Officers
• Students Officers
• House Captains
• Boarding School Council

Student Association

One way that students can sharpen their leadership skills is to be elected into the Student Association. Students from an early age learn to campaign for a wide range of positions, ranging from President to Year Representatives. This is done to provide students with a platform to express concern and to learn to cooperate and negotiate with staff.

In addition to this, the Student Association is in charge of organising several social events, throughout the year, for example:

• Non-Uniform Days
• Fund-Raising Projects
