Don’t be dismayed by good-byes. A farewell is necessary before you can meet again. And meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends.”

The Alumni Organisation aims to achieve the following:

  • Help former school friends get in contact again and mantain that contact
  • Inform Alumni about the activities of other alumni, to organize smaller gatherings
  • Inform alumni of the current progress of the school and its activities
  • Help the school in ways suggested by the headteacher

Dear Alumni,
Re: Welcome from the Headteacher

As the Headteacher of Stanborough Secondary School, I would like to warmly welcome you and introduce myself.
Our thriving school is growing from strength to strength and we have seen how a collaborative and cohesive team of parents, students and staff can help to rapidly improve standards at our school.

To further cultivate participation in the life and growth of the school, we will be inviting you to key events taking place throughout the Academic year. I am sure you will be eager to support future generations of Stanbororough students by sharing your tips, wisdom, and experiences. We have some plans afoot for transforming the Stanborough community into something powerful in terms of networking and development opportunities. This includes a variety of fund raising events. Furthermore, we have a very enthusiastic Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) who are keen to work alongside Alumni to allow the school to continue to grow.

With your help, we believe that we can keep our connections, not only alive, but dynamic and meaningful.

We are excited about the possibility of working alongside so many of you in the future and are asking for expressions of interest for an Alumni group. Once we have received expressions of interest we will then get back to you with some proposals and suggestions. Please use the form below.

Yours sincerely,
Jeanetta Liburd
Headteacher
